Fashion and Marketing Talks is a blog where we are going to talk about current issues related to the international Marketing which will effet the Global Fashion Industry such as economics, sustainability, new trends in consumer behavior etc. The main focus will be to inform those who are concerned about the latest developments and cases also brand building acitivies in this sector. 

Azra Bayraktar is an enthusiastic academic who would like to discuss current issues in fashion, international marketing, and sustainable marketing in her blog. She had more than 20 years of teaching and academic experience at Marmara University, İstanbul, Turkey, where she got her Professorship.

Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Vienna University of Business and Economics (WU), where she taught Fashion Marketing, Sustainable Marketing, International Marketing, and Marketing Project courses mainly to International Bachelor students. She currently lives in Vienna and İstanbul. Besides her academic articles, she published a book on the Importance of Windows in Visual Merchandising and supervised several theses in Istanbul and Vienna.
During her teaching period at WU, she hosted in her courses also the famous fashion designer Atıl Kutoğlu, Marketing Manager Harold Weghorst for Lenzing company, where the students wrote blog articles on the University Web Page about their presentations.

She visited in April 2025 the UAL (University of London) Saint Martins Fashion Business Practice Short Course.
She is now working on her blogs and publications and preparing her upcoming fashion and sustainable marketing seminars.
